Install Kepler via APT repo on Debian and Ubuntu

Ubuntu

Add Signing key

Let's request the Kepler public key from the Ubuntu Keyserver

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 3024EDFB8F8BDAF4

Adding repository to your APT sources.

sudo su

echo "deb https://apt.kepler.mw/ubuntu/ focal main" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kepler.list

Remember to change "focal" for your Ubuntu release codename

Refreshing APT sources and installing Kepler

Installing is easy, just do the following now:

sudo apt update && sudo apt install kepler

Debian

Installing dirmngr and apt-transport-https

sudo apt install apt-transport-https dirmngr

Add Signing Key

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 3024EDFB8F8BDAF4

Adding repository to your APT sources.

sudo su

echo "deb https://apt.kepler.mw/debian/ buster main" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kepler.list

Refreshing APT sources and installing

sudo apt update && sudo apt install kepler

Running Kepler

When install finishes, type:

kepler
This will launch Kepler server as shown on the screenshot, let it sync. Kepler blockchain currently weighs ~1gb
